The project director identified and enlisted students, ages thirteen to eighteen, who desired to enhance their understanding of discipleship skills and were active members of Airline Baptist Church. Using an equipping model, students were trained in basic discipleship skills and were then taught how to train other students. Students were trained in understanding their salvation and sharing their testimonies, reading Scripture within its context, studying the elements of prayer, serving in the local church, and equipping other students to do the same. The program director used research to develop teaching plans that were used in training the students. Evaluation of the project director's knowledge and effectiveness of the training occurred at the end of the training sessions. The church and youth group have seen significant growth over the last decade ministering to hundreds of students in Bentonville and the surrounding area. First Baptist's desire was to develop a comprehensive six-year church camp strategy that would be sustainable and effective in reaching and growing teenagers for Christ. The doctoral project was divided into three major sections. The first section explored the field of existing youth camp and youth ministry strategies as well as specific research of First Baptist Church, Bentonville, Arkansas. The second section developed the strategy of a church camp ministry with  the help of the strategy team from First Baptist Church. The project director began the project with research. Equipping the selected students concluded the project. Research included evangelism strategies and outdoor recreation that fit the context of the generation and local college campus. Upon completion of the research, the project director designed and implemented training to equip the selected students to use personal evangelism skills in conjunction with outdoor recreation. The project director utilized the ministry skills enhancement model to develop this project. He researched effective preaching principles through the development of an annotated bibliography. Upon determination of those effective preaching principles, the project director developed a series of four sermons. After interviewing teenagers and itinerant communicators, the project director identified three preaching techniques that communicators can use to develop rapport with unacquainted teenage audiences. The eight-week study sought to empower students with an understanding of what being a disciple means and having an ability to implement the practices of disciples. At the conclusion of the workshop, students were equipped to begin meeting with two or three students, training them to be disciple-making disciples. The need for this training was significant due to an apparent void of university students who are disciple-making disciples.
