The project director utilized the ministry skills enhancement model to develop this project. He researched effective preaching principles through the development of an annotated bibliography. Upon determination of those effective preaching principles, the project director developed a series of four sermons. The project director began this project by studying relevant works that address how to develop rapport when preaching to teenagers. After interviewing teenagers and itinerant communicators, the project director identified three preaching techniques that communicators can use to develop rapport with unacquainted teenage audiences. The eight-week study sought to empower students with an understanding of what being a disciple means and having an ability to implement the practices of disciples. At the conclusion of the workshop, students were equipped to begin meeting with two or three students, training them to be disciple-making disciples. The need for this training was significant due to an apparent void of university students who are disciple-making disciples.
