For the first stage of this project, the project director explored strategy planning and assimilation to increase his knowledge and skills in the respective fields of study. In the second stage, the project director assembled a planning team, devised the planning process, and then led the team to develop an assimilation strategy. First, the project director researched materials on assimilation in order to develop and lead the equipping sessions. Secondly, the project director developed the equipping sessions to be used in the training of the leadership team. Then, the director enlisted a group of leaders to equip in an assimilation ministry in Central baptist Church. last, the project director led the sessions as team members were equipped in an assimilation ministry and recognized the need for an intentional assimilation process in Central Baptist Church. Project components included exploring selected new member assimilation strategies and component resources, strategy development through a discipleship training leadership team of the church, and the presentation of a strategy to the church for adoption.  The project director guided the strategy development process by selecting and utilizing a team of leaders from the discipleship training program who collaborated in developing the plan.  The completed strategy plan was presented to the church body for adoption as part of the disciple-making processes for all new members of Gloster Baptist Church.
