The nature of God's communication is understood as personal and relational.  From a narrative theological base, imagination is the primary tool used to understand the Bible in general and the dream passages specifically.  There is a consideration of the influence dreams have had historically.  A pro-active research method is employed during two group meetings, where the participants are instructed to pray daily for each other and to keep a dream journal.
