The project also explores the problems and issues facing Korean churches from the social science and missiological perspectives.  The project demonstrates the emerging issues of ecumenical debate in Korea through an analysis of the background theological literatures published by local members of the World Council of Churches. This has affected badly the care of the aged.  Based on empirical investigation and the theological-pastoral proposition, the church must have a ministry to the aged. The project argues that a school for the aged can be an important part of the ministry to the aged.
