Utilizing scriptural studies, in-class discussion, communication exercises, assignments for application of principles in the home, and inventories and counseling materials from ENRICH, couples were led to: develop greater awareness of strengths and weaknesses; develop greater empathy between spouses; encourage a positive, growth-oriented attitude toward the marital relationship; and promote better spousal communication. The author draws principles from Apostle Paul's relationship with the Corinthians, interpersonal theory, and pastoral theology.  The manual presents a three-step program: education, evaluation, and application.
