The project examines the basic issues involved in contextualization and offers a defense for the procedure used.  The writer identifies biblical principles of leadership by examining biblical terminology, teaching passages, and character studies.  Traditional patterns of leadership among Alaskan natives as found in the ethnographic literature is described.
