Activity centered around: 1) matters relating to Old Testament authority and the adoption of a methodology; 2) a treatment of narrative, poetic and prophetic genres of literature; and 3) two preaching labs. Finally, a complete evaluation and conclusions are presented. A ten part sermon series was developed and delivered on the following disciplines: inner life, prayer, confession, reading and journaling, Bible study, meditation, devotional life, fasting, personal worship, and ministry. Sermons were reinforced through distribution of outlines and worksheets as well as through the encouragement of additional reading. Comparison of before and after surveys revealed substantial improvement in the practice of the disciplines.
