In the eight-week test period 43 persons were divided into five groups of different age spans, plus one group disregarding age concerns. The thesis was that with couples enlisted and mentors trained, the young marriages would give evidence of being strengthened through the guidance of the middle-aged couples.  Pretests were the Dyadic Adjustment Scales (DAS) and the Marital Satisfaction Scale (MSS).  Weekly enrichment sessions included mentoring time after the director's lectures on eight aspects of marriage. The project director employed a sermon series from I Corinthians, an intergenerational discipleship course, a young adult course on senior adulthood, and an intergenerational activity council during the implementation of the project.  Each group was observed and tested to determine if intergenerational koinonia had been achieved.
