The focus was on initiating dialogue to hear another's story rather than necessarily telling one's own.  The report addresses with both systematic and pastoral theology hermeneutics, faith development and evangelism. Methodology includes dialogical skills; faith-journey story-telling; introductions to developmental theories; and written asignments. It proposed to examine how men and women within a congregation perceived women's role in an effort to identify, clarify, and change attitudes for mutual ministry.  The vehicle for this research used a dialectical methodology of combined biblical studies and social science methods.  The expectation of the hypothesis was that significant changes in attitudes would take place.
