The project was motivated by a desire to develop and deploy a diverse and well-equipped team of leaders to serve Crossings’s rapidly growing number of guests and prospective members. I completed the project by meeting three primary objectives. The first was to research the field of local church assimilation to identify prospective member assimilation skills. The second was to develop a curriculum to equip selected Crossings leaders with these skills. The third and final objective was to equip these leaders through the delivery of this prepared curriculum. During the implementation of the project, I utilized multiple assessment tools to validate the completion of these objectives, including an annotated \r\nbibliography, an assimilation skills list, several expert evaluators utilizing prepared rubrics, and pre- and post-assessments for participants.
