I researched and identified key leadership-coaching competencies from various organizations that could be used to equip the staff. Relevant competencies were then selected based on research, staff surveys, and contextual needs. Training modules were created using the selected competencies. Finally, I equipped pastors and staff, utilizing the developed training modules, with methods that allowed them to develop and practice \r\nleadership-coaching competencies. There were three project goals and two professional goals. The assessment of these goals involved feedback from expert evaluators, such as Dr. Donna Stewart and Dr. Jay Howell. First, the project director researched soul care ministry and prepared an annotated bibliography and report on essential soul care skills. Second, to equip selected parents at FBC with essential soul care skills a curriculum was developed. Third, through seven sessions, selected parents at FBC were equipped to provide soul care for their children. Different methods of  instruction were utilized in the equipping sessions including lectures, videos, game-based learning, peer-to-peer and small group activities, along with case studies. The participants were evaluated in the cognitive, psychomotor, and affective domains of learning. Welch College is a private, Christian institution affiliated with the National Association of Free Will Baptists, Inc. The curriculum-expansion strategy entailed four steps. The project director investigated the demographics of Hispanic Free Will Baptists to determine potential needs for biblical training. He explored existing models of Spanish biblical higher education in the United States to discover best practices. The project director presented the research to a selected team and developed a strategy to expand the curriculum of the Spanish Institute of Welch College. First Baptist Somerset has a long history of planting, replanting, and partnering with churches for further  gospel impact. Over time, the need for articulation of best practices and clear guidelines for such partnerships emerged. To meet this need, I researched the area of church fostering, identified best practices, and presented the proposed guidelines in the form of a church fostering handbook.\r\n\r\nThis project followed the ministry research model of NOBTS professional \r\ndoctoral program and included the goals of researching the field of church  fostering and developing a church fostering handbook. Research included interviews with leading voices in the Southern Baptist Convention and an examination of existing models in the field. From the ministry research, a list of  best practices was synthesized and compiled into a church fostering ministry handbook. The resulting products of the project were sent to expert evaluators  for assessment and evaluation. The research included books, other ministries, and students and young adults in the ministry setting who continue to be active in their faith.\r\n\r\nThe next step was developing a curriculum to equip selected parents of Judson Baptist Church, Walker, Louisiana, in faith transmission skills. The curriculum came from the research conducted in the previous step. To help me gain skills in curriculum writing, I completed the book Design for Teaching and Training by LeRoy Ford. The new skills, combined with the knowledge gained from the research, resulted in a curriculum.\r\n\r\nThe last step was equipping selected parents of Judson Baptist Church, Walker, Louisiana, in faith transmission skills. The parents were taught using cognitive, psychomotor, and affective learning.
