He believed people were asked to serve in ways which were not in keeping with their talents and spiritual gifts.  He conducted in-depth interviews with 10 persons to determine their satisfaction in congregational service.  The author then developed a Bible study which included their talents as well as the spiritual gifts topic.  After the study each person prepared a survey form which was given to the congregational gift counselor.
