Supervision facilitates the integration of academic and experiential learning.  The historic and contemporary use of supervision as a modality in ministerial, social work, and teacher education was examined.  Experienced ministers and recent ministerial graduates were interviewed regarding their experiences of being supervised during preordination education. Hierarchical church structures have to be reduced in the Korean migrant church.  Chapter one discusses immigration and Korean migrants in Australia. Chapter two compares the Uniting Church in Australia and the Korean Church in Korea.  Chapter three presents a servant church model.  Chapter four describes the structure and future plans of the Korean migrant church. An examination of Old Testament texts and commentators reveals that the meaning of the 'People of God' title remains the same in the Old and New Testament writings.  The application is determined by time and environment.  The charge 'to make God known to the peoples' also applies to the Hornsby Parish.  Its members' response has to be bound to temporal, geographical and other material circumstances.
