Thus, a unique collection of hymns is needed to address the needs of a unique congregation.  This project attempts to define the worshipping communities meeting in the chapel of the Massachusetts General Hospital. A team of laity and clergy studied worship together.  They also surveyed their congregation regarding religious roots, beliefs and expectations about worship.  The team encouraged congregational participation in and response to liturgical renewal. They wrote collects and examined, tested and edited liturgies of the United Church of Christ and other Reformed communions.
