It explores their responses to union with white churches and the problems and prospect for such union.  The project uses experiments in worship and mission called 'Generating Communities' and 'Interim Eucharistic Fellowships' and the Institutional Racism Commission to gather learnings about the participation of black churches in the union process. Other pastors are not opposed to children's sermons but have not yet delivered one themselves.  Still other pastors preach a children's sermon on a regular basis, but do not feel confident that they are doing it properly. Lesson plans, background material on the Fourth Gospel, and study guides are included, as well as liturgies and sermons for Advent. The study discusses the context of premarital education and surveys trends in current literature. The tape is a practical tool for churches interested in learning new hymns and responses. guitar accompaniments on the tape can help those who want to learn how to sing with the instrument.  Brief instructions and commentary are offered between each of the musical selections.  The paper gives an historical and theological rationale for the use of folk music and guitar in worship.  It proposes guidelines and makes suggestions as to the best way a congregation can utilize this approach. The research employed a descriptive/historical research design to obtain self-reported observations to open-end variable in a 'command' approved 'Hymnal Revision Questionnaire.'
