Can they then develop a means to share their faith with first-time visitors to Sunday morning worship? The author designed and led three different activities in which the arts were used as a vehicle for theological reflection. Through this process members were able to articulate their faith. Having successfully articulated their faith the author then led members through a process in which they designed and created a welcome bag. The bag contained objects that symbolized the faith articulated in the first part of this project. A great deal of data were gathered through a demographics survey, a spiritual gifts inventory, sermons regarding the importance of Mission and Vision Statements, and congregational meetings. Working within a theology of Love, Jesus' ideals for vision, and United Church of Christ polity. The author has studied the moving procedures used by the Lake Region, Northeastern, and Allegheny East conferences.  Included in the study is the impact that moving has on the pastors, their families, and the congregations.  Following a series of interviews, case studies and discussions with a moving review process team, the conclusion was, the conferences of focus needed to develop a formal moving process, rather than informal procedures. Spirituality is the process of being related to and affected by the Spirit.  The Spirituality Assessment Inventory (SAI) was used to measure spirituality.  A series of sermons emphasizing the disciplines of Bible reading, prayer, fasting, worship, ministry, a rule of life, and spiritual formation were delivered.  Small groups were convened and qualitative data was gathered.
