As pastor, the project director researched strategy development and evangelism.  He studied the demographics from the targeted area of Hoover, Alabama.  The strategic design team developed the evangelism strategy through a series of seven design sessions. These sources aided in producing material for a workshop for initial training of small group leaders. The second phase included the development of a workshop, including lesson plans and a student workbook. The final phase of the project involved implementing a workshop for initial training. The project director trained a selected group of members of Costal Community Church in essential skills needed to lead a small group ministry.
