The reader is led through a discussion of the communication eras ultimately to understand the secondarily oral society thriving in Appalachia today.  oral stories are recorded, transcribed, and edited for sermonic use in story sermons.  The results revealed the significant benefit to be gained through the use of story sermons within congregational settings. Air Force","Military chaplains"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["This study evaluates the pluralistic multi-denominational impact on Christian chaplains within the United States Air Force Chaplaincy (Glossary of Military Terms Appendix E).  In researching the multi-denominational impact, which determines the influence that each denomination represented in the military has on leadership, position placement and stability within the Chaplaincy, it was discovered that the impact of Christian chaplains had various pros and cons that were not considered in the onset of this project.  The initial research methodology, proactive, consisted of questionnaires and telephonic interviews.  Further research revealed the need to have verbatim input from troops and feedback from lay personnel in the deployed field.  This proved invaluable in assessing multi-denominational impact among military Christians.
