The action research method guided this intervention and engaged thirty-nine pastors and a group of laity in training, surveys, and interviews which examined this researcher's practice in the Capitol District. She formed a study group, stressed the importance of congregational fellowship, and taught about spiritual gifts. The group remained open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit, took an inventory, and sought to use their gifts in the community. The class completed an evaluation and the author developed a gifts guide.
