Educational and social work professionals were enlisted to review materials utilized in the development of the workshop. Texts were utilized to explain the cycle of violence. Dynamics, myths, and legal issues of abuse were explored. The project enabled the staff members to advocate for and empower women entrapped in abuse. Case studies provided sensitive information on responding to victims of abuse. Teaching methods used allowed staff members to explore the dynamics of abuse. The strategy team is developing a plan to help blended families to connect with the church and to find solutions to their complex problems.  Eastside Baptist Church is a place where blended families can find help with their relationship with Christ.  The strategy is a plan to help families of divorce and remarriage to integrate into Eastside and to help them grow in their walk with Christ.  Although some people may be saved, the project is not primarily about evangelism.  The strategy is a plan for discipling of blended families through Eastside Baptist Church of Orlando.  The project examined Eastside Baptist Church of Orlando and the ability of the church to expand ministry to integrate blended families. Research results, theological doctrines, and common church practice were combined with cultural and sociological realities of homelessness to develop a congregational plan for homeless people.  Findings confirmed that homeless people benefitted in areas of discipleship, fellowship, and leadership development.
