Part 2 is a layman's guide to understanding the Bible, designed to be used in the church pew or at home. A survey tool was used to measure the attitudes of persons in five different congregations in western Perry County, Pennsylvania.  The congregations which were studied were United Church of Christ (2), United Methodist, Presbyterian, and Lutheran.  The study also evaluated the data by age and gender indicators.  The overall study indicated a significant ecumenical openness in worship, fellowship, witness, and mission.
