C. Overlays of comparisons and contrasts with Jesus' command to remember his life, death, and second coming in the form of Communion and the Resurrection are shown as meeting place at the Cross. From the readings and documents, readers will gain a sense of the relevancy of Friendship to the community, city, and world. These glimpses are a means of passing along the history and future hopes to both the young and the seasoned members of the church. This project examined the initiation tradition of the two tribes to identify elements that the church could use to make the Christian faith more meaningful to them. The author used seminars and multiple intervention tools with selected members of the tribes. Furthermore, many black churches and denominations have opted to use a Sunday School outline with roots in white Protestant theology and are employing a pedagogy that negates the genius of black youth. But some lack adequate knowledge in congregational study.  This project was designed to equip ministers to understand key concepts that will improve their abilities to administer their congregations well.  The author's concern has been how ministries of pastors can be enhanced to understand the cultural context of their local congregations.  The author believes that the seminars conducted would give them new insights. The church often lacks ministries that channel the warrior spirits in boys in healthy directions.  The author explored the father-son metaphors in the Scripture and various warrior traditions and identified valuable ethical elements for a ministry focused on initiation. Specifically, the author implemented, observed, and evaluated the impact of introducing the worship arts (dance, drama, music, visual and media art) into the corporate worship experience. Ultimately, the author concluded that the introduction of the worship arts into the corporate worship experience has reinvigorated the worship spirit of the congregation and heightened the congregation's receptivity to change. It is dynamic, collaborative, multilingual, and accessible to individuals with disabilities, and it enhances the organization's gifts/resources, ability to provide holistic counseling, discipleship, sharing of best practices, and ability to organize community action. It requires ministering holistically to the body, mind, and spirit, and breaking the cycle of poverty. This project reveals the various causes of homelessness and outlines a customized plan of ministry to prevent homelessness, and to rapidly re-house those without shelter. The target population includes those that have been disenfranchised, economically disadvantaged, and the underemployed.
