It continues with a discussion of theological issues raised by group dynamics and a survey of major psychological theories. This survey focuses on Freudian, object relations, self psychology, general systems, field and group-as-a-whole theories. Drawing on these resources and illustrative case material, the study makes recommendations for effective congregational participation and leadership."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1799714704018374656,"timestamp":"2024-05-22T01:34:50.081Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T04:34:09Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-05-22T01:35:00Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"b7a7c6f8-7f72-44cf-8c75-c2a9b4fc6bc8","accessControl_ssim":["3c59c18e-00e0-45b4-b058-f51b9ec02ea7"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Pastoral care to the physically disabled"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T04:34:08Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T03:25:53Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["0ffc56ff-b987-4441-b884-ebf171568379"],"hasLease_ssim":["893d0837-121f-4165-bdad-b57c6f331b5e"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia"],"advisor_tesim":["LeRoy Aden"],"year_tesim":["1995"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Autumn H Fletcher"],"publisher_tesim":["Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia"],"subject_tesim":["Church work with people with disabilities"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["This paper discusses major issues of pastoral care to the physically disabled using primary texts, personal experience, a survey on loss and suicide, case studies and statements by physically disabled persons.
