The Prevenient, Justifying, and Sanctifying Grace of God calls humans into relationship with God. The practice of the spiritual disciplines is our response in faith to God's grace. Routine spiritual practice develops Christian discipleship and builds leadership. The curriculum was taught in two seven-week sessions, also taught as a weekend retreat, and the participants completed a pilgrimage to Mt. Angel Benedictine Abbey, Mt. Angel, OR to finish their spiritual experience. While individuals are eager to lead, the church lacks a clear succession plan or a unique process for mentoring and coaching women seminarians as pastors to lead the denomination. Research shows that effective use of rhetoric and communication empowers women leaders to become more effective in casting vision in leading women seminarians to take the next step. This final paper explores laughter as a way of seeing, comedy as a method of telling the truth, and salvation through a sense of humor. God instills human beings with laughter, gives a sense of humor for salvation, and gifts believers with Easter laughter.
