As a result, the author proposes a protocol of things that a pastor or church leader can do before, during, and after a crisis in order for the church to be a witness and maintain the integrity of its voice in the media spotlight during times of crisis. This research was an evaluative study that focused on shared vision for a multicultural, interdenominational, and diverse congregation that transformed a dream into reality, and vision into victory. The findings gathered from this qualitative, descriptive, and exploratory study served as effective working tools for new church development. Ten husbands of female pastors in the House of God Church were identified to define their role as the 'first gentleman.' The methodology was approached from a pastoral counselor's perspective. Strategies of brief counseling theory (Stone, 2001) were used to develop survey and interview questions for the participants. The relationship between smaller membership churches and the presbytery is of particular concern. The author used surveys and multiple intervention strategies with smaller membership congregations within the Presbytery of Geneva, New York. Her conclusions include that transformational leadership that promotes healthy, vital, and tranformed communities of faith is paramount. It is a very important question to Korean churches, because Korean churches have usually been led by a pastoral group. Another impact on the churches is servant leadership. Servant leadership is very close to the image of the pastor in Korean culture. The ministry paradigm is transferring from a vertical and hierarchical structure of ministry to a horizontal structure including the laity. However, after many distortions occurred which changed Luther's joyous privilege into a legalistic doctrine, it was eventually ignored. The author used Luther's concepts of the priesthood of all believers to attempt to revitalize the ministry of a downtown congregation. As a means of facilitating this quest, preaching is also suspect.  The Post-enlightenment fragmentation of facts from values that reduced religion to little more than subjective opinion and elevated science to a place of supreme authority altered the landscape of the church and impacted the nature of preaching.
