In 1989 questionnaires were distributed to ninety-nine United Methodist clergywomen and seminary students in southern New England.  Twenty-nine were returned completed.  Six interviews were conducted. The primary background for Christian worship is Jewish worship.  The awareness of these facts is not primary in the minds of most Christians.  The goal of this project is to lead Christian worshippers on a story journey to the intersection of Judaism and Christianity by way of the celebration of the Passover, and that the faith lives of the participants would be enriched as they reclaimed this aspect of their religious roots in Judaism.
