Using leadership and congregational surveys, along with theological and congregational development techniques, this project will lead the reader to recognize the valuable tool of co-working ministry between laity and pastors. Guder) The author developed a worship series, a congregational Bible study, and a Leadership Development Seminar. This work engages the Great Commission, the Great Commandment, the early church, and John Wesley's 'The Character of a Methodist.' Five churches were chosen, pastors of these churches became a part of a study group, mentors were assigned to each church, mentors became a part of a district vitalization team.
