In his book Good to Great, Jim Collins observes how effective leaders demonstrate a paradoxical blend of professional will and personal humility. This same paradox is reflected in Jesus' grace-giving, truth-telling leadership. He perfectly modeled how to relate to people redemptively while not compromising in matters of truth and righteousness. This project details a process for enhancing leadership effectiveness by cultivating self-awareness among church leaders in regard to professional will and personal humility. If you are a youth pastor, this equipping certainly involves recruiting volunteer leaders.  The goal of this project was to train three youth pastors in recruiting volunteer youth leaders using a four-phase strategy involving prayer, effective leadership team, worship service vision casting, and personal contacting.
