The course followed the Hook, Book, Look, and Took organizational pattern of Larry Richards. The project's methodology includes three goals: (1) to gain insight through a sampling survey; (2) to generate a set of aims for balancing content and application; (3) to preach twelve messages from Ephesians that model a balanced approach and to have six of those messages evaluated by church members.
