Unless they remain grounded in an identity gives them meaning apart from their SOF profession, that pressure can more easily erode personal values, cause moral drift, and lead to unintended consequences. Chaplains serving in SOF must find effective ways to help mitigate this risk and support a flourishing life. The author received training in a Christian-based personal coaching program and implemented that coaching model with a test sample of five Soldiers serving in SOF to mitigate that risk. The author measured the effectiveness of the coaching process with direct observation, interviews and surveys, and determined that personal coaching effectively reduced the risk of moral drift in the subjects. The author concluded that the coaching model provides an effective way for chaplains serving in SOF to help Soldiers remain grounded in their identity outside of the SOF profession by helping them clarify their values, determine their priorities, and design actions that will align them with that identity. Examination of the words of Jesus in Matthew 25: 31-46 through the lens of missional theology established that caring for our neighbors is vital to our faith and discipleship. To evaluate community needs, the author used qualitative research tools including data collection, independent experts, and purposive and snowball sampling. Demographic information and community needs were also assessed through data collection using MissionInsite. The congregation was educated on the needs of the community and their call, as disciples of Jesus Christ, to care for those needs through a sermon series. Analysis of the data suggests that a church-sponsored Family Resource Center to connect people with resources is important. However, the author concluded that this is not the sole focus for the church. However, the phenomenon appears to have been around for centuries, perhaps since soldiers have gone [off] to war and suffered in [the] aftermath. This study contends that when military chaplains refer individuals with mental issues to behavioral health services, chaplains miss the opportunity to offer much-needed religious guidance for those who suffer. The author examines how moral injury occurs and the effects it has on those who are suffering from it. The study includes a survey of soldiers deployed to a combat environment in order to assess possible moral injury due to traumatic experiences. The use of counseling interviews inform the analysis of healing patterns and potential models for a reconciliation process of soul wounds. In the context of my project, spiritual bondage is one of the challenges that members of KMMC in Togo are facing nowadays. . . . Spiritual bondage is prevalent not only among unbelievers and other Christians, but also KMMC members in every aspects of their life. . . . Using qualitative method of data analysis, views . . . received from pastors and church members, . . . discussions . . . on elements of healing and deliverance and principles of education[,] the author use[s] practical methods to address this important issue in pastoral care. . . .  [D]eliverance, as a practice, is characterized by different activities. It is the effectiveness of these activities that contributes to the well-being of the victims of bondage. This research . . . found that good healing and deliverance that use contextual approaches can contribute greatly to the growth of the KMMC in Togo . . . . Therefore, the author suggests contextual educational approach that will help pastors to acquire necessary tools that is needed for this ministry.
