Rather than appearing to condone the abusive actions of a few by not openly discussing the subject, the church needs to give voice to those women as one means of helping them find their way into healing. The project summarized the major issues that affect these women, and offered ten Bible studies designed to assist them, addressing matters such as anger, guilt, shame, repentance, and forgiveness both from a biblical and a psychological perspective. It considers the academic and field research that went into the course, the preparation, teaching, and evaluation of the course, what was learned from the course, and future applications.  This work focuses primarily on the grief associated with death.  Rather than helping pastors to find the right answers, attention is given to helping pastors ask the right questions in cross-cultural grief care.
