Analysis shows students approach confession in ways that preserve autonomy and guarantee outcomes. Students demonstrate a shallow awareness of a biblical/theological rational for confession of sin. This project examines the biblical and historical roots of disciple-making and presents a method of equipping parents to disciple their children. This type of face-to-face disciple-making restores the highly relational nature of Christian discipleship. Through a workshop and ongoing contact with their pastor, parents were mentored in parent-child disciple-making and spent twenty weeks developing a disciple-making relationship with their teenage children.
