Development of the project included research, preparation, and delivery of expository sermons. To ensure improvement in expository preaching skills the project director submitted both sermon outlines and video of sermon deliveries to experts in the field of preaching for analysis. A strategic planning team, consisting of lay members, was invited to participate in the assimilation strategy process.  The project director leveraged strategic principles as well as assimilation principles to lead the team in the development of the strategy, in order to enable members at NABC to be more intentional with assimilation efforts.
