Stam's work shows that Juan Luis Segundo's hermeneutical circle is useful for correcting the oppressive hermeneutics of fundamentalism.  Mesters offers a dialectic of Bible and life as two revelatory books written by God.  The leader-training program emphasizes training, documentation and communication, art and poetry, and research. The interpretative work of DeVaux, Boadt, Clines, and Brueggemann were threaded together using the metaphor of a wedding.  A new inclusive pronoun for God (HH-it) was introduced. This study has made its first priority the personal dimensions of service.  The project describes the interaction of a church community with a local homeless population.  The goal was to establish a rapport with the homeless characterized by mutual trust.  Every creative notion was considered with the understanding that responses to the homeless condition could not be generalized.  The quality of the connections was high, however the numbers participating were small.
