Four main studies were included: the study of prayer's impact upon family evangelism; the effectiveness of having a 'family ties' sermon series and a family outreach Sunday; a look at some barriers to rural evangelism; and the effectiveness of specific training in household evangelism through a retreat format. The pastors were organized (by region) into groups of four to six men.  In each of five consecutive months, they read an assigned book (a different book each month) and then met to discuss it.  Their reading and discussion provided continuing education.  Their being together provided an opportunity for fellowship.  The project report outlines the minister's continuing education and fellowship needs as suggested from Scripture and ministry-related materials.  The format of the project is then explored and analyzed.
