The goal is to develop a 'BRIC' solid message, that is, one which is (b)iblical, (r)elevant, (i)nteresting, and (c)lear. This proposal recommends maintaining requirements which are directly scriptural, and moving present requirements which are mostly historical, social and cultural in origin to the category of special directions (admonitions not required for membership).  The methodological approach involved equipping the elders through training sessions.
