Circumstances forced a reconsideration of a preconceived religious and academic orientation concerning demonic activity amongst Christians.  The work suggests that it is wrong to think that the presence of the Holy Spirit excludes the presence of demons. Scriptural examples of demonization are presented.  The paper describes the character and attributes of Satan and how he can affect a believer.
