The catechism is one of the most important books in the Anglican Church because it is used for the education of faith for newcomers and for the congregation as well.  The relevant available literature on catechisms was consulted as a theoretical and theological background, followed by research through a questionnaire. Its goal is to help Nazarene clergy become better informed pastoral counselors when abortion is considered as an alternative to a problem pregnancy.  The study describes and defines four alternative views about abortion.  It allows the reader to draw his or her own conclusions.  In an attempt to understand abortion from a Nazarene perspective, the author reviews literature from official publications of the Church of the Nazarene. Pre- and post-evaluations measure the information learned and the appreciation gained for what Presbyterians believe and practice.
