United Methodist worship was studied in classes held with the pastors and laity of Gompa District followed with evaluations.  Other venues included Sunday School classes, Bible studies, focus groups and interviews. Experiential worship in the Methodist revivalist spirit is the impetus through which Saint Peter United Methodist Church in Hamlet, North Carolina was revived.  Through direct observation, worship evaluations and candid interviews, the writer has discovered the benefits of this model as a pathway to revival.
