It states that true brokenness is primarily about admitting the foolish directions of our hearts, often shaped by our wounded past. An exploration of Scripture and literature formed a context for the research, conducted as a semi-structured interview. It consists of interviews and follow-up conversations with people who are lay leaders in their respective church communities.
