In such spaces, the changing qualities of word and music have an impact on the experience of worship.    The author's methodology was phenomenological utilizing individual interviews as the research technique.  The research centered on the participants' memory, a theme of aesthetics and the creative imagination to articulate their experiences.  A sense of awe, wonder and mystery emerged as the prerogative of reverberation characteristics.
