The development of an exit strategy in missions partnership serves as the backdrop from which this investigation evolved. The literature on empowerment, the historical review of Converge Worldwide's sixty years of engagement in the Philippines, and the literature on missions exit strategies were critically read and analyzed in this study. In addition, the researcher conducted surveys and interviews to assess the current realities, challenges, and trends in doing missions in the Philippines.
