Communication style was operationalized from literature on media (primary orality, print, electronic), hemispheric lateralization (left-brain), and the Myers-Briggs thinking/feeling temperaments.  Three communication styles were operationalized: discursive, presencursive, and presentational. Recent works on preaching were related to the styles.  The hypothesis: when the communication style of a preaching event resonates with that of the listener, a higher listener satisfaction is reported.  Three sermons were preached using the three communication styles, listener satisfaction ratings were secured, and a statistical analysis of style was computed. The conclusion: communication style preference and resonance do not influence listener satisfaction.
