Consequently, it is the author's contention that roleplay ought to be used more frequently in the pastoral theology classroom.  The proposed model portrays counseling, administrative, visitation, pulpit, and personal situations encountered by today's pastors.  It includes the following features: preparatory notes, the actual roleplay, a peer evaluation, a follow-up discussion, a self-evaluation, and the teacher's evaluation.
