Education is one means of bringing about a more realistic view.  To carry out this purpose, the study uses the andragogical model of education, as delineated by Knowles, to focus on a process of reflection and action among a small group of adults from five congregations in downtown Indianapolis.  In addition to library research, the study uses questionnaires, interviews, and observation to guide the inquiry.
