This unusual dedication suggested the thesis that hard work directly influences members' perception of their Christian faith. Members explored this thesis through study groups which formulated a survey instrument for congregational response. The results pointed to a close relationship between members' work and their belief in Jesus Christ.  Members claim to worship God through their work. This worship through work is activistic rather than pietistic.
