The pervasiveness of the oppression is described in five chapters entitled: 1) Workplace; 2) Public and higher education; 3) Medical arena; 4) Church; and 5) Community and home: exploitation and stereotyping in advertising and entertainment, rape, and wife abuse.  The works of four feminist theologians--Woodhull, Willard, Harkness, and Ruether--are used as education and action models.
