Spiritual needs as declared by the very elderly are examined and discussed.  Material is drawn from pastoral involvement with two hundred-fifty parishioners all of whom are in the ninth and tenth decade of their pilgrimages.  The research method was active listening and observing, then recording parishioiners' subjective spiritual concerns.  Data was accumulated over ten years.
