After establishing the need, it turns toward developing a concise theology of Jesus' ascension in the flesh, exploring the nature of the ascension event to the theological meaning of Jesus' triumph, and then the place of the ascension in securing a proper understanding of the person of Christ.  The implications of Jesus' ongoing incarnation are then explored.
